The Little National Hotel was a 9 storey building in 2 wings consisting of 181 hotel units over 6 levels, Gym, Hotel Reception, Library, Bar & 9 levels of Commercial Space & a Commercial lobby.
The 181 Hotel rooms consisted of Kanuf fire/acoustic walls, Cert-R-fix ceiling framing to be able to obtain the min height needed for the client which only just cleared the mechanical install. Each room featured Polytec Laminate concealed fixed ceiling panels with blind hinge access panels, MDF pelmets, 5mm powdercoate skirting. The Hotel Reception, Bar, Commercial Retreat, Commercial Lobby all featured Decor timber battens & feature blades, The Library featured Autex Cube & Quietspace with Vertiface, The commercial space features a Floating ceiling into CLT exposed timber column/beam/floor construction. The Hotel and Commercial Lobbies feature Plasterboard linings with recessed skirting which is seamless to tiled and joinery finishes.
The high level of detail executed to perfection over 9 storeys & 2 buildings shows off JA Crockett's ability to delivery high quality construction while meeting all the structural engineering, fire, acoustic, weather tightness, thermal, architectural, AS & BCA requirements. Builder: Built
