Ingenia Bob's Farm
The project was the construction of a new Wellness building and Clubhouse consisting of a Library, Gym, Media Room, Sauna, Amenities, Offices, sitting areas.
The ceilings are the main feature of this project with 65 individual ceilings inlaid between huge laminated timber beams in a couple of open areas. These ceilings needed to meet acoustic ratings for sound transfer and NRC, meaning that there was a FC secondary ceiling above all of the ceiling and then a 50mm cavity to the seamless perforated plasterboard Vogl ceiling.
The ezyjambs and shadowline skirting also made a nice seamless feature to the partitions that were installed throughout.
The project was completed with a very high level of quality with very high spec'd quality products and was executed to perfection by our team. Because of the amount of bays that needed to be done, there resulted in 1000m of shadowline trim in an area of around 300m2. This shadowline needed to be 20mm which is not an off the shelf solution. A custom made trim was folded and used on the project to house the perimeter of the Vogl board.
Framing out for the Vogl board was also an engineering consideration and a conventional system could not be used due to the secondary ceiling framing and 50mm acoustic gap requirement. A considerable amount of planning ahead was required to find a solution for all the different bay sizes to come up with an engineered solution that would work for the Vogl board. Products Used: Rondo, Fletcher insulation, Knauf plasterboard, Fire, acoustic & thermal partitions, Vogl plasterboard ceilings, FC acoustic secondary ceiling, MDF pelmets, Shadowline Skirting, Ezyjambs. Builder: Graph Building
