BENNETT'S GREEN

SHOPPING COMPLEX

This $90 million project is the largest development Lake Macquarie has seen since the expansion of Charlestown Square in 2010.
The whole project involved two large buildings with specialty shops, a Bunnings, two small buildings with specialty shops. The development included Bunnings, Anaconda, Spotlight, Nick Scali, Harris Scarfe and an XS Café to name a few retailers.
The biggest challenge was the XS Café curved Vitradual American Pine cladding. These panels which are cassette fixed in a convex and concave curve along the façade was not easy to design, fabricate and install. A lot of planning went into getting the panels just right so that it met the tight curves and maintained clean curved look that went in and out along the façade.
