PARRY ST COMMERCIAL BUILDING
Located in Newcastle's bustling West End district, this commercial building was completed in late 2021.
The project was a four storey office development with 3000 spare metres of office space. The top floor included a fit-out for the building owner which included Ezyjambs, 2 curved/raked skylights, a Green wall feature to a large skylight, Mondoclad soffits, Armstrong tegular Ultima tiles in 15mm Suprafine grid & feature upturn bulkheads to the perimeter of the fit-out.
The curved / raked skylight features were the most challenging feature of the build. Getting the perfect curve / rake on the skylight with a lighting pelmet around the base took a lot of planning. We managed to design a solution which incorporated CAD machine cut MDF rounds, this made the set out of the skylights much easier and the finished product shows for itself.
